Clarence O. Nelson founded Nelson Truck Equipment Company. The official name for the company at that time was Tires and Equipment Company. Everyone called him Mr. Nelson C. O.. He remained active in the business up until his death in 1987. He was 94 years old.
In the early years the company sold tires and school buses. Later the company branched into the truck equipment industry. In the late 50's the company, realizing the potential market, started to distribute truck accessories. As the years passed Nelson Truck Equipment evolved to meet the needs of their customers. From pickup campers, tow trucks, aerial trucks and completely customized bodies, Nelson Truck does it all. Roy W. Nelson follows in his father's footsteps and leads the company into the future. With three warehouse locations in Seattle, Kent and Spokane, Nelson Truck Equipment continues to provide quality service to the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.
